Biography

Mahdi Tabassian received his M. Sc. Degree in Electronic Engineering from the the University of Mazandaran, Iran, in 2010. In 2008 and during his M.Sc studies he joined the School of Cognitive Sciences, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Tehran Iran, as a resident researcher. At IPM he was involved in research in the areas of ensemble learning, handling uncertainty in data and face recognition for a period of 4 years. In February, 2013 he started his studies at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering of the University of Bologna as a PhD student.
